About the event
Train with professional umpire Jen Pawol and special guests from various levels of baseball and softball. This is the best place to try umpiring for the first time. Every participant receives a t-shirt, "Umpiring is for U" workbook, and certificate. We'll go over the basic signals, uniforms and equipment, plate umpire and base umpire drills and skills, frequently occurring rules in both sports, and networking for beginners who would like to try umpiring as a part-time job this spring! Bring your glove and be ready to have fun!
